Florence Nightingale quote used in accordance with this model.
1) Whilst the initial drawing for this model is standing vertically, I chose to change it to the horizontal plane so that it became more practical thus abiding by the laws of GRAVITY.
2) The addition of lighting and textures in the background give the model a sense of enclosure as I produced a large tetrahedron for the model to be placed in. The colours of the textures are dark and of relevance to the context of a cave.
3) The brightest light is coming from behind the place where the shot was taken so to show that the sun Russel placed on the outside reaches the inside.
4) The additional openings on the side of the model were just continuing the exploration of practicality in terms of ventilation and lighting. Plus the light given off produces a nice array of shadows.
