This Section Poche was taken vertically and shows Utzon's Villa cascading gently down the hill with the slope so as to blend in with the surrounding environment. Thus revealing one of many design influences. From the entrance down to the studio it is visible that the landscape is a part of the villa.
This is a section cut taken longitudinally showing all 3 major spaces. The drawing shows different densities thus representing the major areas used as being the most dense.
This is just a progress shot of the final plan poche drawing.
In this drawing I used the space in the background with trees as it is in real life just to show how well Utzon incorporated both context and the design within the given space.
